At this time, iGuard360° is actively seeking _**Tactical Security Guards**_ **to assist with short notice, on-call requests** **for our retail properties in Toronto and the surrounding areas**. The guard will be responsible for safeguarding the property, company assets, employees, and customers while always acting in the best interests of the company. This role emphasizes ensuring safety and security while serving as a prominent deterrent to undesirable behavior and individuals.

- **What you will do**:_
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers by way of customer service and physical presence.
- Maintain positive, professional working relationships with clients and customers.
- Identify and respond to suspicious activity in a professional manner.
- Prevent theft of client’s products and merchandise within the store by maintaining surveillance of the site and its high-risk areas.
- Provide access control as required.
- Conduct regular foot patrols as required.
- Enforce the Trespass to Property Act, Criminal Code of Canada, and other relevant legislation as it pertains to the property.
- Respond to alarms, patrolling the site and securing premises as required by site post orders.
- Complete detailed and comprehensive incident reports through our online reporting systems.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment.

- **Education / Experience**:_
- Previous industry experience is an asset
- Additional industry-related training (e.g., Tactical Communication, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) is an asset, but not required
- Completion of or enrollment in a Police Foundations, Law & Security Administration, or other relevant program is an asset, but not required
- **Special Certifications needed**:_
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid CPR Certificate Level C

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $17.20-$17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
