Heavy Equipment Operator / Labourer

EBM is seeking a Full
- Time Heavy Equipment Operator to perform day to day operations related to excavation for the purpose of sewer, water and storm drain installation. Competitive pay rates offered based on experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a variety of heavy equipment and specialized machinery
- Excavate around utilities to install sewer, water and storm drain pipes.
- Excavate basements
- Read and understand locates and blue prints
- Hand dig ditches and trenches.
- Set up laser for grading and set elevations
- Assist with coordination and set up for day to day operations.
- Operate hand and power tools.

**Requirements**:

- Driver’s license (G) with a good driver’s abstract
- 5 years (minimum) experience
- Willingness to assist with General Labourer duties (hand digging ditches/trenches) is considered an asset
- Willingness to travel
- typical work areas include Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton & GTA
- Willingness to obtain a criminal reference check
- DZ or AZ licence is considered an asset
