Dispatcher - Weekends

We are seeking an experienced Weekend Dispatcher to support a busy LTL transportation company. If you use common sense, have the know how, dedication and the drive to do whatever it takes to get the job done we would like to speak with you. This position entails dealing with all aspects of dispatching, such as but not limited to negotiating and mediating with customers and drivers, load planning, and problems solving in a professional manner to name a few.
This position will have the following shifts (Thursday's and\or Monday's may be required):
**Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm**
**Saturday 8:00am
- 4:00 pm**
**Sunday 8:00am-3:00pm**
Position Description:
- Complete ACE & ACI custom manifests through freight management program;
- Set up PARS with broker and ensure release of PARS through RNS system;
- Communicate and solve problems with drivers, customers and custom brokers;
- Work in ACE & ACI government portals as necessary;
- Load Tracing and tracking;
- Assisting dispatch as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with submitting ACE & ACI manifests for border clearance.
- Experience in LTL freight in the transportation industry
- Excellent computer, written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Creative and effective problem solving ability
**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Breslau, ON N0B 1M0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
