Job Details Durée de l'emploi: Permanent Langue de travail: Anglais Heures de travail: 40 to 45 hours per week Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Work site environment Commercial aviation Work setting Rural area Staff accommodation available Remote location Various locations Outside Canada Willing to relocate Tasks Fly fixed wing aircrafts or helicopters Follow emergency procedures to compensate for equipment malfunction or failure Monitor operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight Perform post-flight inspections Record equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken during flight Co-ordinate flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control, inform crew members of flight and test procedures and direct activities of aircraft crew during flights Conduct in-flight tests and monitor functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights Conduct pre-flight inspection of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met Contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions and other information Maintain communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions Prepare flight evaluation reports Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Commercial Pilot Licence - fixed wing Airline Pilot Transport Licence - fixed wing Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Licence Multi-instrument Flight Rating Aircraft experience Small jet airplane Security and safety Criminal record check Airport security clearance Medical exam Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Own transportation Willing to travel Willing to travel regularly Travel expenses paid by employer Willing to travel cross-border Willing to travel for extended periods Willing to travel internationally Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Physically demanding Attention to detail Manual dexterity 20/20 vision Combination of sitting, standing, walking Large workload Hand-eye co-ordination Ability to distinguish between colours Sitting Screening questions Are you authorized to work in Canada?
