**Job Summary**

Bluewater Group is looking for a Material Controller to join their Supply Chain & Logistics team in Edmonton, AB. The Material Controller is responsible for the preparation and coordination of the movement of materials between sites, in accordance with our Quality Management System. You will be expected to verify and document inbound and outbound materials. The Material Controller also maintains detailed records specifying the shipment or receipt of materials.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments as per receiving and shipping schedules or department priorities.
- Coordinate the movement of material between sites as well as around town to specified vendors.
- Supervise the preparation of material to be shipped, in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Work with Client, Vendors, Cross dock facilities, and Warehouse Staff to rectify material discrepancies.
- Compile and maintain manual or computerized records.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of material and product movement.
- Work with Operations Manager to optimize space & resources.
- General office duties.

**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years experience in Inventory, Warehouse Management and Material Control
- 1-3 years supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems including SAP
- Proficiency with Office suite
- High level of customer service
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to pay attention to both details and macro-level outcomes
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to prioritize work, including handling urgent tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
