**Job Description and Qualifications**

- **Modularization Material Lead. **This position will be located at the Construction Job Site in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Field Materials Coordinator will work with the Field Material Manager, Project Procurement Manager, and Construction Manager.
- Modularization Material Lead performs and leads all activities vital to enable effective end-to-end coordination of materials and equipment related to modularization: prefabrication, installation, and commissioning of plant units at a location remote from the construction site.
- The core accountability is to ensure that adequate quantities of the required materials are sourced, procured, and delivered within an acceptable time frame to satisfy modularization needs. Modularization Material Lead contributes to compressing project schedule, improving safety management, avoiding late deliveries and additional labor hours.
- **Job Description**:

- Screen and assess Project Modularization strategy at an early stage of the Project.
- Plan and implement project material control activities associated with modularization materials and engineered equipment, piping, structural mark pieces, and other modularization components to support project operations.
- Produce Modularization Material Plan aligned with Project Material Management and Material Planning strategy.
- Work with Material Planning, Procurement, Expediting, Logistics, Quality around Source Inspection, Project Controls and Construction Management to establish project-specific modularization material control processes.
- Develop Modularization Material Control Level schedules with achievements and duration in accordance with Project Control and Material Engineering work, incorporate material lead time estimates for placing material orders in time to meet the project schedule.
- Participate in an early engagement with fabricators and vendors to allow modularization execution to be carried out according to the project schedule.
- Conduct accurate interface between different modules to ensure they fit up accurately at site.
- Identify which materials are provided by Module Contractors, and which are supplied by AP.
- Ensure Engineering Module Material Take-offs are aligned with the BOM/ISOs/Engineering drawings.
- In collaboration with Project Material Manager confirm alignment of Engineering data with Fabrication Categories, project WBS / CWP plan, and project destinations by module.
- Define Bulk Material and Tagged Equipment List according to the project material requirements.
- Continuously supervise dimensional and weight control to keep them within limits.
- Define and report module yard material / equipment quantities, review and validate fabrication achievements against the project baseline, advise of corrective actions with respect to schedule and budget.
- When Engineering requirements for module materials are defined, review material balances as a part of the organizational change process and take action to mitigate surplus materials.
- Mitigate material cost increase due to craft modification to suite modularization plan and transportation of modules.
- Maintain all required status reports, documents, and records required in support of modularization activities.
- Resolve module yard material discrepancies (e.g., quantities, quality, or supporting documentation) within each functional group.
- Ensure Supplier and Fabricator deliveries are expedited on a predetermined schedule to fabrication goals and meet ROS (required on site) dates.
- Perform accurate, timely, and efficient identification and record of project materials related to the modularization, to support EPC efforts.
- Advise Project Management of developments that may substantially affect project costs and/or schedules and work with project teams and suppliers to find solutions to mitigate impacts.
- Support Project Management in the identification and assessment of all identified risks respect to supply of equipment and materials to projects.
- Assist in handling of complex material control, procurement, expediting, logistics, warehousing functions or plans for the modularization construction.
- Work with different AP software system to ensure material quantity and quality management through the projects are in accordance with AP Standards and Practices.
