Our Beer Ambassador (sales representative) is responsible for enthusiastically fostering and growing sales of our delicious Perth Brewery beer within our distribution territory in order to achieve established sales targets and strategies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Bring a passion for craft beer to act as an ambassador for the Perth Brewery by enthusiastically promoting and growing the brand.
- Achieve territory sales volume, revenue, and growth targets according to daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.
- Establish and manage strong long-term business relationships with licensees and customers providing outstanding customer service.
- Identify, isolate and pursue opportunities to grow sales via new licensees.
- Work with customers to develop account plans and priorities regarding products, promotions, and sales opportunities.
- Plan and execute daily schedule of sales calls and visitations with specific, timely and value-focused objectives in mind.
- Gather customer feedback and info in conjunction with industry insights regarding trends.
- Work with the Head of Sales/Owner and Data Analyst and Office Admin Lead to develop sales targets.
- Conduct beer tastings with existing and potential new customers.
- Participate in Brewery promotion through participation in events.
- Other related duties as may be assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- A college diploma or certificate in Business, Sales, or Marketing, and a minimum of three years experience in sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Passion for the craft beer industry.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly a knowledge of the craft beer industry, would be an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, customer service, interpersonal and organization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as alone to achieve results.
- Valid Ontario G Class drivers license.
Working Conditions
- Fast paced environment.
- Travel offsite to customer and licensee locations.
- Flexible availability for work hours - with completion of tasks by end of day.
- Some evenings and weekends may be required.
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
