**Overview**

**Duties**
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding freight status and logistics.
- Utilize AS400 systems for data entry and tracking of shipments.
- Analyze shipping and receiving data to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and freight movements.
- Implement phone etiquette best practices when interacting with clients and team members.
- Collaborate with 3PL providers to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the shipping process, ensuring swift resolutions.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in AS400 systems is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze data effectively for decision-making purposes.
- Experience with phone systems and professional phone etiquette is required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.25 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
