About the Role*
We are seeking for a Junior Shop Coordinator to join the team This position will support in multiple areas of the shop including supporting the team with administrative tasks while also facilitating the daily business requirements. Providing support to the production teams by ensuring tooling, supplies, and other shop requirements are readily available.

**Position Details**
Position Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Calgary, AB (NE)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities*
- Provide administration and assistance with reviewing time sheets for hourly staff on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy
- Monitor performance of CNC Operators
- Managing shop efficiencies to fulfill business demands
- Working collaboratively with other internal departments within the organization (Human Resources, Payroll, Shop Personnel) to be a support as needed
- Interacting with both shop and office employees and supervisors on a day-to-day basis
- Supporting the Shop Coordinator with executing day-to-day administrative tasks seamlessly while navigating through shifting priorities throughout the day
- Work alongside the Shop Coordinator to assist with design and implementation of new processes
- Supplement the workload on the shop floor within the material management
- Conduct daily audits of tool drawers and inventory
- Restocking and managing consumables, material, and other shop supplies
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment within the shop
- Occasional photocopying, printing, and other job duties assigned as required

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Previous experience in an office or manufacturing environment preferred
- Working experience with NAV (Navision) is an asset
- Knowledge of internal supply chain processes is an asset
- Expert in Excel, including MS Office; particularly Outlook, Word, and OneDrive
- Basic math and problem-solving skills are required
- Strong attention to details
- Possesses strong time management skills and knowledge of KPIs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with different levels of the business
- Highly collaborative, team player
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Has a passion for organization while being able to shift through different priorities and tasks
- Process and task oriented
- Capable of moving equipment, materials and supplies up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
