**TYCROP** is looking for a **Cobot Welding Operator**to join our team in Chilliwack-Rosedale location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and weld product, sub-assemblies and components for production using the automated welding machine (Cobot)
- Meets standard work requirements for all welded assemblies
- Effectively communicates potential quality and/or compliance deviations (i.e. revisions, weld symbols)
- Program robotic welders and developing parameters and schedules for production
- Meets standard work requirements for fitting and welding intermediate small parts
- Contributes to mínimal rework
- Interpret machine program specifications or blueprints
- Completes all quality related documentation as per work instructions
- Fabricate jigs for parts to be fit and welded in by the cobot
- Layout patterns according to instruction
- Perform basic crane lifts
- Operate basic hand & air tools (die grinder, angle grinder, drill etc.)
- Perform other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Red Seal Endorsed, Journeyman Certified or comparable experience
- Automated welding process

**Specific Skills**:

- Proficient in the following: Automated welding process, GMAW, GTAW, SMAW and FCAW.
- Must be able to efficiently fit and weld complex fabrications without supervision
- Must have knowledge of various metals (I.e. QT 100, Weldox 700 & 900 etc) and know how they react to welding in order to maintain spec tolerances
- Must have knowledge of all welding processes including correct filler metals, welding gas, pre-heat requirements etc.
- Must be qualified to fit and weld trailer chassis and know the rules as it pertains to welding on flanges, axle installations and critical weldments
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs

Pay: $22.24-$39.24 per hour
