R.I.C. MetalWerx Inc. is a metal fabrication shop located in Chilliwack, BC. We offer cutting, bending, pemming and welding services for customers in the valley and Greater Vancouver area. We're looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Set-up and Operation of CNC Press Brakes
  • Perform measurements and math calculations to determine the correct tools and angles to bend parts
  • Demonstrate math skills to ensure items are designed and built up to customer and internal requirements
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Measuring parts using a variety of tools and ensuring all parts meet quality requirements.
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

  • 3+ years working as a machine operator operating the press brake, laser, punch press
  • Basic math skills and functional literacy in reading, writing and calculation is required
  • Ability to check and measure parts to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Experience operating hand and power tools
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to lift 50 lbs

Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, M-F
