As a construction laborer, you play a vital role in supporting various construction projects by providing essential assistance and contributing to the overall success of the projects and company. Your responsibilities include tasks such as site preparation, material handling, general construction duties, and ensuring a safe work environment. By diligently performing these tasks, you help CH Built achieve its objectives of delivering high-quality construction projects, maintaining productivity, meeting project deadlines, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence in the industry.
**Job Duties**
Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
Construct and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps
Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
Use your skills and talents to complete, painting, flooring, drywall, concrete work, plumbing, kitchen and bathroom installation, tile setting and all things renovation and new construction
Assist in demolishing by using prying bars and other tools, sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
Operate all varieties of hand and electric tools, pneumatic tools, etc. as directed
Operate mixers, compressors and pumps
Clean up any construction sites you are on to ensure a safe work environment and guarantee tenants do not trip or hurt themselves due to equipment and materials laying around
