**Role**:
**What you will do**:
- Social Media:
- Oversee the execution of social media including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, GoogleBusiness and TikTok. The job includes content planning, creating & producing, scheduling & posting, audience engagement & customer service and data analysis.
- Develop content based on the company strategy to increase audience engagement and web traffic online. Follow the content calendar and policies for brand and social media guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Content creation requires video and photography skills, editing, creativity, excellent copywriting, technical knowledge of platforms and trend awareness.
- Work closely with the eCommerce Manager, following requirements to align digital customer journeys.
- Additional content creation as needed such as blogs, articles for partners, material for event promotion, etc.
- Manage projects in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Support other miscellaneous marketing projects as required, such as photoshoots, ecommerce support, special events like the Calgary Stampede and instore events.
**Skills**
- Able to continuously learn and improve with agility and curiosity.
- Advanced knowledge of all relevant social media channels
- Creative with an eye for detail, and key focus on results
- Excellent written communication skills
- Able to capture professional looking video and photography content, then expertly edit.
- Experience or willing to learn basic graphic design
- Able to multi-task and stay organized in fast paced work day
- Good skill level for data analytics
- Works well within a collaborative team, with good peer communication skills
- Knowledge and/or enjoyment of the Western lifestyle an asset
- Retail experience an asset
**Qualifications**
- Post secondary diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or related field is preferred.
- In depth level of knowledge of marketing principles and practices to increase brand awareness
- Able to drive and has own vehicle.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in similar role.
**Notes**:
- This role is IN OFFICE and on location when creating content.
- Hours can vary. In order to oversee social media, hours of business can range and flexibility is required for weekends and events.
