**Description**:
Looking for a strong, experienced project manager that has a background delivering large technical projects for external clients.
- What locations you would consider? Toronto, Mississauga, Ottawa, Moncton, St. John’s and Halifax
- If bilingual required, will interviews be held in French? Bilingual is not required for this position
- Is remote work available? Are there any required days in office? I can be flexible, nothing officially required to come in but it would be good to come in to work in person with team members (our office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), so at least one of those days per week.
- Provide a description of the typical day to day in this role - Most team members have multiple projects to work on so a typical day would be spent monitoring and executing project schedules, following up clients, technicians etc. Time would also be spent on weekly reporting, attending customer meetings, or internal project meetings and planning for new ones

Project management - some form of IT, or technical project management work (5+ years)
- What will the interview process look like (how many interviews, assessments, virtual or in person)? First interview will be 30 mins (virtual, via webex), 2nd round 30 mins will also be virtual
- What specific projects will be worked on? All types of radio projects, we usually onboard new project managers with smaller projects to get a good understanding of how public safety projects work (moves, adds, changes are the most common to start). There is no specific project that I am hiring for as they
- What is the expected hiring date? Mid to late April - I’m trying to hire 4 of them
- Any potential for extension or to hire full time? Yes there is always a potential for an extension beyond the first year, and to move to full time

The Client Radio team, plans, designs, builds, and operates networks providing managed services for public safety and commercial users. Our project delivery team oversees the design, development and implementation of public safety and commercial radio network solutions for our customers.

What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a strong project manager with proven leadership skills and extensive project management experience to lead the delivery of key projects for our public safety radio and commercial radio customers.

What you’ll do:

- Work directly with our customers to lead the successful delivery of their public safety radio or commercial radio solution projects
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the project management life cycle including project scoping, resource assignment, project plan development, project tracking, monitoring and reporting
- Create, manage and communicate clear project schedules to ensure deliverables are met
- Monitor, track and report on project progress against scope, milestones, schedule and budget
- Work with project team members and customers to proactively address issues and risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans
- Build positive and productive working relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure expectations are understood and delivered upon
- Deliver projects in accordance to technical specifications and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction

Experience you will bring:

- Extensive project management skills and experience, that includes a proven track record of leading and delivering large technical projects on time and on budget
- Proven experience building relationships with external customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated leadership experience on high profile projects
- Highly skilled in verbal, written and interpersonal communications
- Proficient in MS office suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio)
- PMP designation is preferred
- Understanding of public safety radio technology and public safety radio networks is considered an asset
