**Job description**

At Island D. Automotive Machine we are passionate about what we do. We machine, assemble, and build automotive, light-duty industrial, and marine engines - gas, diesel, stock, and performance.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:
**PRIMARY**:

- Keeping the shop clean and organized
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to keep them clean and free from debris.
- Cleaning work surfaces, countertops, and equipment.
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly.

**SECONDARY**:

- Restocking cleaning supplies as needed.
- Assisting with basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or reporting issues to the maintenance team.
- Prep and cataloging of cores
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
- Assisting in Shipping department

The successful applicant will be mechanically inclined and work well within a team and with mínimal supervision. You will be our ‘go-to-guy’ and must be flexible with assigned tasks.
