**Position Summary**

This position is responsible for helping the lead installer with the delivery and installation of laminate countertops. Secondarily, this position works as a shop helper within a shop.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Combination of inside shop work, and field work
- Help to install countertops efficiently and professionally
- Make sure that all tools, glues, and fixtures are ready and available for lead installer
- Help measure, cut, and install any backsplashes for the job
- Help caulk any areas that are required for sealing and a finished appearance
- Clean and seal (if required) countertops and work areas within the home
- Work professionally within the home, ensuring that things are cleaned after the install
- Provide the customers with a great service experience
- Work in the shop as required to produce countertops and perform related duties
- Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines
- Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in a Countertop/Cabinetry or laminate industry an asset
- Knowledge of the construction industry an asset
- Ability to learn and retain information, multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift 75 lbs +.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
