**This is a Full-Time Permanent Position - we are looking for year-round staff. This is not a summer job.**

**Position Overview**

As a team member, you will:

- Deliver interactive animal presentations in classrooms, camps, after-school programs, parties, and events.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Inspire and educate children about animals through hands-on learning experiences.
- Assist in various aspects of our programs, including pet therapy visits and school presentations.
- Receive full training in animal care and handling.
- Present to groups of children with confidence, enthusiasm, and creativity.
- **Must have a valid Class G driver's license and a reliable car for work-related travel (car allowance provided).**

**What We’re Looking For**
- A strong love for animals and children.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- The ability to confidently engage with large groups.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- A proactive, adaptable, and problem-solving mindset.
- The ability to work independently and manage stress effectively.
- A strong command of English (French is an asset but not required).
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at either of our Toronto locations - midtown or Beaches site
- Availability to work both **Saturday and Sunday**.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum three years of experience working with children.
- Working towards or completed a diploma/degree in an animal
- or child-related field.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
- Successful completion of a vulnerable sector background check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
