**Summary**:RETLife - in River East Transcona School Division - is looking to fill up to three (3) full-time term positions as Program Leaders for the RETLife Summer Day Camp program. Working in cooperation with the Camp Supervisors, RETLife Program Coordinator, and McLeod Adult Education Director, the Program Leaders are responsible for assisting with organizing and supervising camp participants aged 6 - 12 years old.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading camp activities and serving as energetic and positive role models for all youth participating in camp activities.
- Communicating and working cooperatively with the Assistant Camp Supervisor, Camp Supervisor, and Program Coordinator regarding needs, problems, or concerns as required.
- Maintaining a safe and positive working environment for staff and campers.
- Providing safe supervision of campers during field trips.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in program development and activity planning - as you have the chance to put your skills and knowledge in action. This position is ideal for university or college students enrolled in programs focused on education, early childhood development, social work, recreational studies. or comparable education. Experience working with children and youth in recreational or camp settings is an asset.

Rate of Pay - $18.25 per hour
