**Responsibilities**
- Reports to the PRHP Emergency Preparedness Manager/ Coordinator through the PRHP PCP & ACP positions
- Participate in morning toolbox meetings and/or hazardous work pre-job safety meetings
- Respond to all work-related injury calls onsite
- Comply with PRHP SOPPs (Both work and non-work related)
- Operate clinically within boundaries of the professional licenses of the incumbent
- Maintain standards of practice consistent with the provincial governing regulatory body
- Ensure that patients are managed in a professional manner
- Undertake triage of patients as requested
- Ensure equipment and transport vehicles are ready 24/7 to undertake all medical retrieval services at the start of each shift
- Ensure all stock is intact and within date
- Maintain inventories of all stock as per the procedure
- Ensure infection control practices are followed at all times
- Ensure adequate supplies of PPE are available
- Participate in annual skills assessment testing in basic life support and other identified skills
- Maintain patient records as care is provided in an objective, complete, and timely manner
- Participate in scheduled meetings and other activities as requested
- Prepare reports relating to the specific area of responsibility as requested
- Any other duties that may be requested from time to time by management
- Assist in writing of procedures as requested from time to time

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Have a good working knowledge of Medical Records storage and retrieval
- Actively maintain skills through ongoing education
- Understand equipment maintenance program and participate as appropriate when requested

Certification:

- British Columbia EMR or OFA III Licensing
- EMR Licenses will also require a valid Paramedic In Industry (PII) Certification
- Valid Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) certification is considered an asset

**Experience**:

- Previous heavy civil construction experience is considered an asset
- Preference will be given to persons with additional fire/emergency response certifications such as NFPA 1001 Fire Fighter I & II, NFPA 1670 Technical Rescue (Awareness & Operations levels), NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials (Awareness & Operations levels), etc.
