Job summary
This role will oversee and document the receiving of packages, parcels, and supplies, store items in the appropriate areas, and prepare orders for shipping. This is a position that requires a highly organized personality. You must pay close attention to small details while managing the logistics of a high volume of items entering and leaving the facility.
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive goods: check goods against invoice or packing list to ensure that all items are received and entered in ERP accurately then stocked and labeled with 100% accuracy
- Processing all orders (picking, double checking, packing) with 100% accuracy
- Prepare paperwork for out-of-town shipments and communicate with dispatch to facilitate pick-ups
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles for transporting goods.
- Keeping an organized record of back orders for follow up
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace at all times
- Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
- Communicate any issues to the Parts Manager in a timely matter
- Be a team player and assist co-workers whenever you can
- Follow all TDS, and WHMIS guidelines
- Operate and use all equipment such as forklift, pallet jack and other equipment in a safe matter
- Other tasks & responsibilities assigned by management
**Requirements**:
- Time management and exceptional organizational skills a must
- Ability to type efficiently in order to maintain accurate inventory tracking records.
- Ability to meet shipping deadlines
- Class 5 License with a clean driver’s abstract
- Able to work alone and or in teams/groups to solve problems and get work done
- Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime when required
- Able to frequently lift and/or move items over 25 Kilograms
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
