- PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_
- Takes the lead in assigned production activities, facilitates and directs the packaging process.
- Responsible for supervising the accurate and efficient process of receiving, stocking, shipping, replenishment and picking of merchandise specific to the program.
- Assists the Warehouse Manager in meeting quality and production KPI targets for the program.
- Responsible for assisting with training and mentoring of Warehouse associates for the program.
- Can navigate computer systems to complete required training.
- Follows, and assures all operators follow all safety procedures. Ensures compliance with all government regulations, including all GMP requirements.
- Assist the Distribution Center as directed with meeting operational goals.
- Assists the Distribution Manager with developing and recommending plans to improve current Program processes and configurations to promote efficiency, and improve KPI goals.
- Responsible for supervising the accurate and efficient process of receiving, stocking, shipping, replenishment and picking of merchandise.
- Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet productivity goals.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:_
- Requires completion of a high school diploma, combination of experience and education.
- Normally requires a minimum of two to four (2-4) years of equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical and related support materials distribution, quality concepts and procedures is essential. Demonstrated skills in leading and directing work teams.
- MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:_
- Ability to lead and manage teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of reading documents, product labels and instructions.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of computers to operate effectively with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. And SAP/ERP systems.
