**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating and organizing all shipping, delivery and installation schedules of client orders between the shop floor, shipping department and client.

The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for organizing the scheduling of installers at the client site and arranging any necessary accommodations for out of city work. This position enters and updates data associated with installation schedules, delivery schedules, time sheet reconciliations and shipping documents including organizing all filing of appropriate office copy paperwork.

**Main Responsibilities and Duties**
- Verify with shipping that all scheduled deliveries are ready
- Verify with shipping that all product for next day is ready or will be ready for next day delivery
- Update delivery schedule as orders are shipped
- Coordinate re-work deliveries with shipping
- File shipping copies
- Verify new orders and enter data details into system
- Verify with shop floor when advised of a completed job
- Update job schedule based on verification from shop floor
- Contact clients to confirm shipment of products, installation and payment of balance due upon delivery as required
- Coordinate installers at client site
- Arrange accommodations for out of city work as needed
- Organize office copies in appropriate files and binders
- Receive service calls and look after scheduling the required service as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience with managing and coordinating of schedules in an equivalent or related position, for example experience in a dispatch position; shipper/receiver position.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Work experience in the cabinet business/industry is considered an asset.
- Work experience in the construction or custom manufacturing business/industry is considered an asset.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Extensive customer service skills, with the ability to manage and deal with difficult customer issues and concerns.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders required.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a large workload while respecting tight deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Strong ability to take a proactive approach in the day-to-day operation of the business.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook and Excel.

**Condition of Employment**
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, with access to a reliable vehicle (as the office location is not on a bus route)
