Clinical Counsellor

Gather & Ground Wellness is an expanding online clinical counselling practice located in Vancouver BC. Although our primary focus is on clinical counselling, we like to create the space for our clinicians to explore workshops, training, and other therapeutic teaching modalities if desired.

Gather & Ground is dedicated to providing a community for individuals interested in personal development and growth through evidence based modalities. We are a modernized therapy clinic that values connection and authenticity within our team members.

As our referrals continue to grow, we are seeking a clinical counsellor who can take on clients experiencing relational challenges such as uncovering relational patterns, processing trauma, and discovering attachment styles. If you do couples counselling

We would like clinicians who can commit to 15 hours a week minimum, and who are available either a few evenings or some evenings and one weekend morning. This is a contract-based position, which means you will have ample flexibility in your workplace choices.

**This position is for you if**:

- You have a masters level education (RCC, MSW, CCC)
- You have experience and an interest in interpersonal and relationship counselling (couples counselling is a bonus)
- You are training in one or more specialized modality in your area of work (ex. EMDR, EFT, Gottman)
- You want a fun, collaborative, and innovative work environment
- You are looking for the flexibility to work from anywhere
- You have an interest in making counselling services more accessible by building an online practice

**Qualifications**:

- A Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology or a relevant human services field with a designation of RCC, MSW, or CCC.
- Current registration and good standing with **BCACC** (and/or equivalent professional regulatory/licensing body)
- Aptitude in working with technology is required (We use Jane, Gmail, Slack, Loom, and Google Drive).
- You have strong training in evidence-based treatment modalities. Examples include; CBT, DBT, Somatic Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, or Narrative Therapy. We encourage you to bring your unique style to our team no specific modality is required.

**Contract length**: 6 months with renewal option for one year if we see fit.

**Split Fee**:60% to Contractor, 40% to business

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $99.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
