**Responsibilities**:

- Build and repair wooden frames, braces, joists and other structural elements of buildings.
- Build and repair wooden frames, braces, joists and other structural elements of buildings.
- Construct, install, and repair cabinets, staircases and railings.
- Cut and shape wooden members to fit designed specifications.
- Calculate the amount of materials needed for a project based on blueprints or building plans.
- Inspect completed work to ensure that it conforms to building codes and standards.
- Be knowledgeable about a variety of carpentry tools, machines and materials.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Additional pay:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON N6B 2V6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 10 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
