SVN Rock Advisors Inc., Brokerage is an entrepreneurial commercial real estate brokerage and consulting company with an exclusive focus on the apartment sector. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong research, analytical and interpersonal skills to join the team in Burlington as a Manager of the Commercial Real Estate Research Department.

You are an experienced senior real estate researcher and analyst. You’ve had experience with development of any real estate asset class. You’ve been in client facing roles, but have also done your share of business development and management. You understand RFP’s, Project Management, and have had experience in front stage and back stage.

Your education and / or equivalent experience in real estate combined with our laser beam focus expertise in the new apartment construction industry will result in a fascinating career in the fastest growing asset class in Canada - New Apartment Construction. You will be part of a dynamic team of 20 talented people who work collaboratively to envision, build, and transact on purpose built rental housing and affordable housing. You will also be helping hire, train, grow, and manage a team as part of an overall boutique brokerage firm. An urban development background is considered an asset.

**Qualifications and requirements**
- Relevant degree and minimum 3 years research and analysis experience within the real estate industry
- Strong data analysis skills with strong working knowledge of Statistics Canada Census Data and CMHC Housing Market Data.
- Strong analytical skills and high competence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of/experience with the Ontario and/or GTA housing sector.
- High-level report writing and presentation skills.
- Experience managing a team is considered an asset.
- Proven problem solver and innovative decision maker with the ability to meet critical deadlines, including multiple and changing priorities.
- Ability to drive and be flexible to work full-time in our Burlington office, with the flexibility to attend client meetings across the GTA (outside of regular business hours will be necessary at times).
