Reporting to the Project Director, The Procurement Manager will oversee and manage the procurement process for our Nuclear engineering projects.

What you will be working on
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for nuclear projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring best value for money.
- Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly.
- Monitor supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans as necessary.
- Develop and maintain procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to procurement activities.

What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, within 3+ years in the nuclear industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to procurement activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
