**Requirements or Qualifications**:
A degree or diploma in Recreation and experience/knowledge of recreation programming. Demonstrates the ability to relate well to residents, tenants and staff.

**Accountability/Objective**:
Plan, organizes and facilitate recreation programming to residents and tenants in the Retirement Residence and Apartments.

Participates with team to ensure department is in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and/or policies; adherence to safety rules and regulations. Practices safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire safety procedures including extinguishers (as applicable), SDSs (Safety Data Sheets) and Lockout Tag out procedures. Reports all accidents/incidents immediately. Reports all unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment immediately.

Complies with all infection control techniques, placement of biohazard containers and removal techniques, procedures and policies. Participates in Fire Safety and Mock Disaster procedures.

Perform all other job duties as assigned. Refer and adhere to all policies and procedures as they are in effect.
