As a Skilled provider of transportation solutions, we are committed to excellence in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our clients fleets.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Journeyman Transport Trailer Technician, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our new shop's reputation for top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include:

- **CVIP Inspections**: Conduct thorough Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Document and report any identified issues, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- **Trailer Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep transport trailers in optimal condition. Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment longevity.
- **Electrical Work**: Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and electronic components. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems as needed.
- **Larger Mechanical Jobs**: Undertake complex mechanical repairs, such as brake system overhauls, suspension work, and axle replacements. Collaborate with team members to efficiently handle larger mechanical projects.
- **Body Work**: Execute body repairs, including welding, panel replacement, and other structural enhancements. Ensure that trailer bodies meet safety and quality standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyman certification in Transport Trailer Technician or equivalent.
- Proven experience in CVIP inspections, trailer maintenance, electrical work, larger mechanical repairs, and body work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to compliance.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
