We began with 16 hives in 1996 and have grown into one of the most well-respected honey bee product producers & purveyors in Canada.

**About the Position**

We are looking for a full-time **General Farm Worker** at our **Pitt Meadows Farm**. This seasonal position works from March 15 to October 15 with approximately 40 hours of work per week. You primary responsibilities are farming and landscaping with some additional work in beekeeping following on-the-job training and/or formal beekeeping courses.

**Responsibilities**
- General Farming_
- Weeding and trimming hedges
- Miscellaneous landscaping and grass cutting
- Minor woodwork for farming needs
- Keeping the farm property clean and orderly
- Blueberry Farming_
- Weed control
- Pruning Blueberry Bushes
- Record daily harvest
- Weighing, sorting, and packing fresh blueberries
- Beekeeping_
- Assist in basic bee hive maintenance
- Harvesting and extracting honey
- Maintaining beekeeping equipment
- Assist in moving hives

**Requirements**:

- Experience operating small engine equipment such as: power washer, leaf blower, farm tractor, lawnmower, garden tiller
- Experience with crop farming
- Experience with blueberry farming highly preferred
- In good physical condition and comfortable working outside in any weather
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence

**Compensation/Benefits**
- Starting wage $18-20+ based on experience
