Flexible scheduling available. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Responsible for setting up, stocking and maintaining breakfast room and kitchen - Prepare food for breakfast including in using a convection oven - Greet guests in a friendly manner - Answer guest questions - Assist guests in use of breakfast equipment if needed - Communicates all guest concerns to management - Maintain cleanliness of serving area; including wiping, sweeping and mopping. - Clear and clean tables and chairs - Wash and store any dishes and utensils - Sweeps, vacuums, and mops kitchen and dining room floor - Responsible for the removal of all waste and recycling to proper disposal areas - Ensures the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals - Takes every reasonable precaution to protect own health and safety and the health and safety of other persons at or near the workplace - Follows safety and food handling practices - Completes additional food service or catering duties as assigned by management **QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**: - Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required - Food Handler’s certificate an asset - Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures - Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as cooperatively within a team setting - Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time - While we welcome all applicants, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. **Job Type**: Part-time Pay: $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week **Benefits**: - On-site parking Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: - Tips **Experience**: - Food handling: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
