**About the Opportunity**:
The NZ Psychosocial Oncology clerk reports to the manager of Northern Zone Cancer Care and is responsible for ensuring smooth information processing, flow and support for patients, their families, physicians, and the health care team while contributing to the efficient daily operation of the NZ Psychosocial Oncology Team, including supporting NZ Cancer Patient Navigators, NZ Social Worker, and NZ Drug Access Navigator. Daily functions are reflective of the service provided by the Cancer Care program, including Psychosocial Oncology Services, and at times Ambulatory Systemic Therapy Clinics and General Practitioner Oncology Clinics.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Graduate of a post-secondary secretarial or office administration program or equivalent required
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Terminology course is required
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a health care setting required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience supporting Cancer Care programs preferred
- Demonstrate Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks required
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team required
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in an area with frequent interruptions

**Preferred**:

- Experience with EFR, Megamation, SHARE, SAP and MFUs preferred
- Ability to forward think and present new ideas to improve work flow considered an asset
- Previous work attendance may be considered
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent Full-time Position; 70 hours bi-weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.09 - $21.90 hourly
