**Job Summary**:
The Fabrication Shop (Fiberglass) position will be responsible for fiberglass reinforcement of fabricated PVC pipe fittings. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor.

This is a full-time, day shift position (Mon-Fri, 730am-4pm), with a proposed hourly pay rate of $29.88.

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with fiberglass materials on a daily basis.
- Visually inspect, measure, and test materials before and after process steps to ensure quality compliance.
- Assist with the training of other employees.
- Fill out production and quality assurance sheets.
- Operate the following pieces of equipment: Pneumatic angle grinder, die grinder, spark test guns, weight scales, cranes, and pneumatic adhesive guns.
- Work safely, report any hazardous conditions, and participate in 5S activities around the plant.

**Job Requirements**:

- Verbal and written communication in English
- Basic math skills (addition/subtraction of fractions); metric and imperial measurements
- Must pass Bennett Mechanical Comp Test (given in-house)
- Experience with hand and power tools, lifting equipment etc.
- Must be comfortable wearing full face respirator during operations

**Working Conditions**:

- Must use applicable PPE in shop, to include but not limited to, hearing/eye protection, full face respirators, safety shoes
- Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 35lbs frequently
- Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.
- Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools.
