Join our team** **Position Overview** JANA is looking for **collaborative**, **dedicated** and **fun** individuals to join our Operations Team as Project Managers. JANA’s Project Managers are responsible for working closely with our partners and customers by planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to achieve the specific goals of each project. They are comfortable working with a range of stakeholders from engineers and technical staff through to executives and they relish the challenge of balancing multiple projects at once. Our Project Managers are the face of JANA to our clients and the voice of our clients within JANA. In this role, you will: - Lead the JANA Project Team throughout the project life cycle - Attend customer sites for project meetings, implementation workshops and training (as required) - Establish goals, expectations and take corrective action as needed to maintain and control project scope, cost, schedule and quality - Manage the development of project specific execution and management plans - Determine and mitigate any project risks - Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and clients in a timely and clear fashion - Contribute and problem-solve any challenges to ensure we meet our project goals and objectives - Ensure that the terms and conditions of the contract are met - Provide support to project team and keep the team informed of pertinent issues - Conduct project post-mortems and identify successful and unsuccessful project What it takes You have: - a bachelor’s degree (Science or Engineering preferred) - 1 - 2 years of Project Management experience, in a diverse client-facing - strong organizational skills as demonstrated in your experience managing multiple projects at a time - the ability to exercise professional judgement in the handling of confidential and proprietary information - strong presentation skills You are: - a strong public speaker who can clearly articulate the unique value that the JANA solutions are able to provide customers - a people person who can interact with various stake holders from engineers to executives, and have the ability to build long-lasting relationships - an exceptional communicator, both verbally and in writing - able to work effectively on your own or in a team environment - able to travel to the U.S. on short notice on a Visitor's Visa, such as the "B1" Visas that are routinely issued as a passport stamp when crossing the border - JANA is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process; in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
