**Calgary Rangers Soccer Club - Job Posting**

**Position**:Grassroots Director

We are currently seeking a **Grassroots Director** to join our Technical Leadership Team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, administration, and delivery of our **Young Rangers (U4-U8)** programs, as well as leading the development and retention of community outreach initiatives and strategic partnerships. We offer technical excellence through our player development program to all members, House League, Calgary Minor Soccer Association and Alberta Player Development League. Our mission is to provide all our youth with an opportunity to learn and play soccer, while providing a high level of competitive soccer and quality coaching.

**Location**: Calgary, AB - Travel to and from various locations in the city is required to meet the program needs.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead all aspects of the **Young Rangers** programs
- Support community program development and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate closely with members and families to foster strong relationships
- Provide **technical leadership** within grassroots programming
- Design and implement **formal player and coach development plans**:

- Develop and execute staff and volunteer **coach education pathways**:

- Create and document **player development pathways**:

- Ensure effective and transparent **member communication**:

- Contribute to **club growth** through innovation and community inspiration

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Strong knowledge of soccer and **previous coaching experience**:

- Preferred coaching certifications**:UEFA / CSA Children’s License**:

- Experience coaching or running programs for children ages **U4-U8**:

- Demonstrated experience in **program or community project delivery** for youth
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong **written and verbal communication** skills
- Proficient in **Microsoft Word, Outlook, Canva and Excel**:

- Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision
- Flexible availability including **evenings and weekends**:

- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
