Shabad Transport is well established Transport Company based in Woodbridge Ontario. We're in the market for a **Dispatch Supervisor** with experience in cross border lanes (preferred). We're seeking a dispatcher that has a minimum of **3-4 years of dispatching experience**. The firm is currently expanding and there will be an abundance of opportunities for learning which may lead to career growth and potential bonuses (based on performance).

**Duties and Responsibilities will include**:

- A minimum of **3-4 years of experience** in the transportation industry is required
- Experience dealing with FTL and LTL shipments
- Please note that experience with **Fleet Manager** (transportation management software used by our firm) would be an asset in this role
- Coordinate and plan with department peers to effectively and efficiently dispatch the company’s resources
- Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying ahead of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets
- Communicate with brokers, carriers and the customers to resolve any discrepancies
- Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining favourable shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any contingencies that may come up with regard to the quality of service, quantity, and schedule related issues.
- Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation
- Proactively communicate service risks to customers in order to provide relevant and unique solutions to logístical contingencies
- Familiarity with North American geography is an ever-growing skill and an asset to anybody in any role in this industry
- Problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

**Experience**:

- Dispatch: 3-4 years (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, not required)

**Salary**: Remuneration will be based on relevant education and experience

**Schedule**: 10 hour shift

Pay Rate is negotiable based on relevant education and experience.

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute to or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Must have a valid driving license and be able to drive to work

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
