Westcore Contracting Inc., a multi-generational, family-owned leader in Alberta’s civil construction industry, seeks experienced Class 1 drivers skilled in operating gravel truck-and-trailer, tractor-trailer, and lowbed configurations. With projects around Edmonton, we specialize in earthworks, remediation, reclamation, road construction, and site development.

**Positions Available**:

- Gravel Truck and Trailer Operators
- Tractor-Trailer Operators (End Dump, Belly Dump, Flatbed)
- Lowbed (Lowboy) Heavy Equipment Haul Operators

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate gravel trucks, tractor-trailers, or lowbeds in diverse conditions.
- Haul, load, unload, and secure heavy equipment and materials.
- Conduct thorough pre
- and post-trip inspections and maintenance checks.
- Navigate challenging terrain, manage load stability, and ensure accurate delivery.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations, permits, and company procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with spotters, site personnel, and escorts.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of direct driving experience with gravel trucks, tractor-trailers, or lowbeds.
- Valid Class 1 License with clean abstract.
- Proven skills operating in variable and demanding environments, including off-road and winter conditions.
- Current safety tickets: CSTS 2020 (or CSO), First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II.
- Physically capable of performing tasks (lifting 50 lbs, climbing equipment, securing loads).
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work tests.
