**_Position Overview:_**

ACQBUILT is seeking a **Class One Truck Driver.** As a member of the Logistics Department the Truck Driver is accountable and responsible for the safe transportation of materials to job sites. He/she has a responsibility to ensure all legal requirements and maintenance of company equipment is executed. He/she works under limited or no supervision and performs tasks of substantial variety or complexity.

**_Responsibilities Include:_**

Practice proper, legal load securement at all times.

Maintain a legal Driver’s logbook.

Complete pre and post trip inspections and correct or report all defects immediately.

Load, haul and deliver materials to job sites in residential areas of Edmonton and surrounding communities

Maintain a flow of loads and deliveries to construction sites according to the transportation schedule and its priorities.

Reports on status of repairs and maintenance according to schedule for all equipment.

Maintain company and OHS safety standards in the work place.

Perform additional duties as required.

**_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:_**

Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or material up to 50 pounds

Must be able to distinguish colors.

Must be confident to haul multiple wide loads daily

May require work in hazardous environments requiring protective equipment.

May be exposed to dust and high noise levels.

Manual dexterity required to use pedals and levers.

Exposure to outdoor elements.

Overtime as required.

Air brakes endorsement.

Picker operation experience an asset.

Flat deck experience preferred

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
