**Position Summary**:
The QHR Data Solutions Team’s focus is to provide data conversion and migration services to our Electronic Medical Records platform - Accuro EMR.

The Data Analyst, under the direction of a Lead Data Analyst, will import, clean, transform, and validate data with the purpose of migrating data between EMR systems with different data structures and context. The Data Analyst will write data manipulation SQL commands for Microsoft SQL Server to assess the quality of incoming data, analyze problems and make modifications. The Data Analyst will execute concurrent, complex, and time sensitive projects.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Develop SQL scripts for migrating and massaging data between data schemas.
- Mapping of data elements from various formats (CSV, XML, SQL).
- Deploying copies of production databases for client review.
- Match data entities between the old and new systems.
- Articulating technical issues to be understood by client-facing colleagues.
- Set-up execution and monitoring of data conversion processes using in-house ETL tools.
- Assess data to verify data integrity before/after data migrations.
- Provide client-requested data services.
- Share knowledge of techniques and expertise with other staff.
- Adhere to secure processes for accessing confidential patient data.
- Document and track client issues and bug-fixes.
- Provide data support for other teams and vendors.

**Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements**:

- University or College degree in a related field or equivalent in experience.
- 2+ years of experience with relational databases is preferred.
- Electronic Medical Records experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Experience in data processing and file management is necessary.
- Strong knowledge of MSSQL required.
- Familiarity with an array of data storage formats.
- Must be highly organized and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrates an enthusiasm for learning new skills and techniques for database imports.
- Clinical healthcare experience and/or experience with Accuro an asset

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Experience with ETL or data analysis processes is an asset.
- Experience with MS SQL Server Integration Services is an asset.
- Experience in Java/C# programming is an asset.
- Experience in PowerShell is an asset.
- Thorough knowledge of product development lifecycle is an asset.
- Knowledge of networking and Windows Operating Systems is an asset.
- Experience with Azure or cloud services is an asset.

**Compensation and Logistics**:

- Base salary, variable bonus established at the corporate level, competitive benefits package
