People Services Generalist

We’re looking for a People Services Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across the Cherubini Group of Companies. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong attention to detail, and builds trust through clear communication, sound judgment, and emotional intelligence.

**Key Responsibilities**
As a key member of our People & Culture team, you’ll be at the heart of what makes our company thrive - our people. You’ll lead with compassion and clarity, supporting individuals and teams through growth, change, and challenge. You’ll be trusted to:
- Oversee immigration onboarding processes and maintain documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, offering practical guidance with empathy and discretion
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for assigned roles, preparing employment contracts and managing logistics
- Support HR administration: letters, performance reviews, audits, data accuracy
- Provide backup payroll support and assist others with Payworks-related tasks and questions
- Draft and distribute internal HR communications, policy updates, and employee-facing materials
- Contribute to a strong safety culture by supporting related initiatives, communications and reporting

**Skills and Experience**
- 2+ years of HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or advisory role
- Previous construction or manufacturing experience considered an asset
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to build rapport and navigate sensitive situations with care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift gears as needed
- Comfort navigating fast-paced, hands-on environments
- Knowledge of employment legislation, immigration programs, and HR best practices
- Strength in Microsoft Office and communication tools
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
