We are looking for a **Permanent -** **Full-time**, **Manager, Employer Services **for our **Skymark location**.
**Key Job Functions**
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our services, eligibility of the programs that we administer through Employment Ontario, and how we can support the individual needs of job seekers and employers.
- Advocate and promote our client’s individual skillsets to employers with a focus on the most marginalized and unrepresented groups and the value that they bring to an organization.
- Understand how to work with specialized groups along with the barriers and challenges.
- Maintain and attain established SSM Targets for Job starts. Monitor and provide direction with focus on specialized groups.
- Develop a diversified portfolio of employers that will meet the current and future needs of our client caseloads.
- Monitor employer contact records, ensuring all data is correct and updated.
- Provide employer support when needed by Employer Services/SSM and skill enhancement for Youth, Toronto Employment Social Service/Youth Job Connection.
- Create connections and professional relationships with Employers.
- Handle all employer-escalated issues or flagged employers, such as non-service system manager branches, follow-up with employers, and case noting.
- Monitor all reports for Employer Services.
- Assist and support with job carving/job matching.
- Provide directions to staff in a timely manner.
- Provide support to Employer Account Coordinator (EAC) with job matching and job board management including but not limited to resume submissions (existing employers), Job descriptions, monitoring JDs submitted - Quality and Accuracy, setting up interviews, brokered incentives including apprenticeship bonuses.
- Assist and support the Employer Account Managers with employer prospect lists, grants, other EO programs and all other workforce development needs.
- Oversee all aspects of staff management and performance for staff reporting to the position.
- Continuously work on ways to Identify and support the achievement of all branch targets.
- Attend Chamber Meetings/LEPC (workforce planning) - attend on behalf of Employer Services and create a list of support from the Branch Manager and CP Team
- Other duties pertaining to the position, as required.
