**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain Crane, picker trucks and/or boom trucks
- Haul, load, and off-load equipment
- Understand and obey all provincial and federal highway rules and regulations
- Ensure equipment meets operation and safety requirements
- Practice proper legal load securement
- Take part in all safety meetings
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and courteous manner
- Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, log book and safety documents
- Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision

**Qualifications**:

- ** Class 1 License preferred (will operate 45 ton picker at times)**:

- Current 3 year abstract must have no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years
- Familiarity with an 80 ton Terex RT Crane is beneficial
- Journeyman **Mobile** Crane certification **required**:

- ** 2-3 years of experience** operating a mobile crane**:

- Must have a valid H2S Alive and CSO certificates
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Able to travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan (flexibility in schedule is required)

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to plan and organize tasks meeting deadlines with high performance
- You have the ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely
