Journeyman Plumber

Position: Full Time Journeyman Plumber

Daily OT after 8 hours. Paid travel time. Shift work available. Accommodations provided. Daily LOA. Full time permanent employment.

Lauden is a growing, innovative mechanical contractor who specializes in commercial and industrial construction. We are looking to add a full time Journeyman Plumber to our mechanical team, to work on our sites in Northeastern Alberta. This job includes working cooperatively with the administrative and prefabrication teams, as well as going to site to complete installation. The applicant must be a team player who is self motivated, has strong attention to detail, good communication and problem solving skills. The applicant must be able to follow the process, use technology, and be reliable.

Pay:

Salary: range $40.00-$50.00

Schedule:

Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off; 9 day on, 5 days off; 5 days on, 2 days off
Daily: 7:00am - 5:30pm
10 hour days

Requirements:

Journeyman Certificate
Certifications: CSTS 2000, WHMIS, Skid Steer, Aerial Lift Platform, Fall protection
Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities:

Lead a project from start to finish with the support of management.
Effectively run a team of apprentices and laborers.
Daily communication with our clients and provide them with a service.
Daily communication and direction to our subcontractors.
Engage and keep all onsite staff & subcontractors accountable.
Keep an overall site organized and efficient. Condense as required.
Lead material management for all incoming and outgoing materials.
Advanced understanding of overall mechanical systems, ability to see what's next and plan accordingly.
Identify obstructions and barriers and work with management to get them removed.
Forecast manpower and be able to identify scheduling conflicts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
