**What it means to be Data Analyst**

As a Data Analyst, your primary responsibility is to collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide our leadership team with valuable information that we can use to drive growth across our marketing, operational, and business practices. You are expected to have a deep and thorough understanding of data analytics and possess strong analytical skills that provide sharp insights and actionable recommendations. You will take responsibility for managing our data analysis tools, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. You will have a thorough understanding of different types of data analytics, such as descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive and how we can build upon these to drive growth across our SaaS product offering.

- Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
- Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible structures
- Using data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
- Performing statistical analysis of data
- Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
- Monitoring data quality and recommending improvements to improve reliability
- The ability to pay attention to detail when working with data in order to make accurate conclusions and predictions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with shareholders
- A solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage
- Strong IT and mathematical skills
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
- Knowledge of relevant relational databases
- Other duties as assigned
- **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams**: Partner with marketing, sales, product, and engineering teams to understand business needs, define key metrics, and deliver actionable insights.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies in data analytics and proactively suggest improvements to existing processes.
- **Automated Reporting**: Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboards that allow teams to access insights in real-time and reduce the manual effort of report generation.
- **A/B Testing**: Design and analyze A/B tests to determine the effectiveness of marketing strategies, product features, and user experience changes.
- **Data Governance**: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards, maintaining adherence to internal data governance and compliance requirements.
