Event Attendant

We are gearing up for a busy live events and sports season at SaskTel Centre and we are on the search to find dedicated individuals to assist with event changeovers and set up for the overnight shift. Shifts normally at 10:30pm and end at 6am however hours may vary depending on event requirements and demands. Those selected to work overnight will receive an overnight premium. There are also a variety of shifts in the evening for events and very limited shifts during the day. Note that this is casual call-in position and shifts are assigned based on the individuals availability.
Event Attendants assist with all aspects of facility conversions, event set up other event set up related duties. This includes general building and grounds maintenance, facility preparation, set up and take down as well as custodial duties and general support during the events.
SaskTel Centre Event Attendants are pivotal in providing an overall experience to the community that we serve. The diligent response to varying work tasks will assist in the overall success of the event.
The events we support are:
- Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse
- Blades Hockey
- Rattlers Basketball
- Concerts and other events
**Knowledge, Abilities and Skills**:
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public and other employees.
- Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.
**Security Requirements**:
- Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) upon offer of employment.
**Education, Training and Experience Requirements**:
- Grade 10 education.
- Three months' related experience.
**Hours Of Work**:
- Shift work and weekend work are involved.
**Salary: $18.3470- $20.2274 per hour**
