The Remarketing Solutions Advisor will direct and support the Remarketing Team to maximize the return on investment for each used vehicle sold.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will be responsible for developing and managing the strategy for **the Remarketing Team**. Overseeing our vehicle inventory, working with your team to identify areas of improvement for operation efficiency and ways to maximize asset values. You are expected to set performance expectations for employees, help them develop their skills as remarketing specialists, and train them on any tools or systems provided by Summit Fleet. Establish relationships with auction personnel, schedule auction dates, analyze auction performance, and manage issues with auctions and other vendors. Implementing policies, examining the processes your team uses for the sale of vehicles, and finding ways to improve upon them. You will also report and monitor KPIs to ensure your efforts are increasing sales and profits.

**Maintain Up-to-Date, Complete Documentation**
- Ensure all paperwork is completed for each vehicle sold
- Management of inventory
- Ensure that payments are processed

**Prepare Vehicles to be Sold**
- Ensure condition reports are done
- Coordinate reconditioning of auction units

**Get Vehicles to Auction**
- Compare auction prices and choose best auction for each vehicle
- Coordinate transportation to auctions
- Confirm the vehicles arrived at the auctions

**Determine Resale Prices**
- Research units sold within the past 90 days
- Set ‘reserve price’ for vehicles being sold at auction
- Quote fair market value estimates
- Set prices for vehicles to be offered to leasing clients

**Build Relationships Internally and Externally**
- Offer vehicles to the Summit sales team to sell to clients
- Discuss market conditions with dealerships, auctions, transport companies, etc.

**REQUIREMENTS**

We need the right personality for the job, someone who is organized, accountable, and enjoys working with a team. Your ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment will support your success.
- Work experience in the automotive industry is an asset
- Prefer both auction and management experience.
- Experience assessing and valuing the vehicles you are selling.
- Familiar with how to sell vehicles with large ticket prices using a dealer, OEM, or auction house.
- Capable of managing and training team members on the best sales techniques for remarketing such as closing and negotiation skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Take initiative and be accountable for finding solutions
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Track record of getting results within a fast-paced environment
