We are continuing to grow and are searching for a** Full-time Baker** who is looking for the next challenge in their careers to grow with us. The COBS Bread brand has been built on our commitment to the quality of our product, the development of our people and the delight which the combination of these two elements brings to our customers. **Compensation starts at $20/hour** but will increase based on experience. Must be able to work weekends including Saturdays and Sundays and Statutory Holidays. Must be able to work 24-40 hours/week. **As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will**: - Work with other Bakers, the Baking Team manager and the Production Manager to ensure the bread quality and range is to COBS Bread standards and delivered on time to meet customer demands. - Maintain the safety of staff and customers by upholding the COBS Bread brand and standards. - Be assigned an initial designated area of responsibility (Bowl, Bench, or Ovens) and will cross-functionally train and learn all three areas. - Assist with stock rotation. - Provide delightful customer service. - Provide support to the whole bakery team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships. **Requirements**: - Oven management experience is valued but not required. - Preference given to those with College Diploma in Bakery and Pastry Arts - or working towards completion of program - Valid Food Safety Course and/or First Aid Training Certificate is valued but not required **Benefits** **What’s in it for you?** - Cobs Bread independently recognized as a "Great Place to Work" - A Fun work environment - A product you are proud to work with and help create - Potential for growth and development opportunities, including certified COBS Bread Baker - Complimentary products on us - And more, including health, dental, and medical benefits for full time employees - Social activism as 100% of unsold product donated to local charity daily **PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**: Organized, Efficient, Punctual, Courteous, Respectful, Self-motivated, Reliable, Happy, Success Oriented, Passionate, Energetic **Accessibility** Accommodation is available upon request for applicants and employees with disabilities.
