Dartmouth, Canada Totally Raw Pet Food Full time

Totally Raw Pet Food is expanding, and we have a position for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment. The position is 25 hours per week with the potential for an increase based on operational requirements. Scheduling preferences can be discussed.

**Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to**:

- Establish and implement a Preventative Maintenance program.
- Assessing the required repairs on faulty equipment units and damaged structures for all equipment and buildings.
- Repairing equipment as required.
- Facilitating the arrangements for any repairs outside of scope of this role.
- Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
- Plan and schedule repairs within a maintenance program.
- Ensure maintenance software is maintained with current information (CMM FIIX & Excel)
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that the back up equipment is operational.

**Job requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on maintenance experience with **Patty Forming machines, Meat Grinding machines, Dehydrators** is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent in experience qualification.
- Valid drivers license.
- Certified in HVAC, building maintenance technology, Millwright Maintenance Technician certificate or relevant field is considered an asset.
- In-Depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Technical abilities in the maintenance of industrial production equipment
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks.
