Overview:
We are seeking two (2) reliable and motivated Production Labourers to join our team in the Extrusion department. As a Production Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, and will be required to perform tasks involving physical labour, operate a variety of hand and power tools. The Porduction Labourer will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.

**Duties**:

- Read technical diagrams
- Operate and tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic and fixed automation equipment
- Connect cables, tubes and wires to complete assemblies and installations
- Position and install parts, subassemblies and accessories using hand and power tools and other aids like overhead hoists
- Mark, record and report defects
- Clean and perform preparation of work-site.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Lubricate, clean, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and tools as instructed
- Operate, read, and maintain air monitoring and other sampling devices when working in confined spaces and/or hazardous environments.
- Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines if needed
- Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a General Laborer in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills
- Time management skills
- Critical eye for identifying defects
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current.
- Respect diversity - treat others with respect.
- Avoid unnecessary conflict.
- Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various assembly processes
- Strong working mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.

Pay: $18.81-$21.45 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
