Techo-Bloc’s Sourcing Coordinator is a key position in global sourcing strategy. This individual will support our buyers, and interface with vendors to manage consolidated quotation requests, new vendor relationships and occasionally, place orders for non-inventoried items including ensuring the timely delivery of product to our Techo-Bloc sites.
Working closely with the Procurement, Production and Maintenance teams, the Sourcing coordinator is accountable for detailed information collection, data management and identification of requirements through our ERP system and contribution toward a risk adverse global sourcing portfolio. This role requires a high level of detail, organization and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver the best value to Techo-Bloc from our vendors. Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

- Serves as the primary liaison between new vendors and Techo-Bloc to identify, select, develop and purchase new product as well as negotiate and confirm preferred service agreements.
- Advising internal and external stakeholders on projects related to area of expertise.
- Complete purchase orders (P.Os), for non-inventoried procurement needs and manage data held within the ERP system prior to hand-over to buyers.
- Partner with accounting team to enroll new vendors and handle accounts payable set-up.
- Leads with supplier and cost evaluation of new materials.
- Hand over sourcing initiatives upon completion to Techo-Bloc departments (operations, distribution, accounting, etc) to continue procurement needs and purchasing.
- Asses and mitigate supply issues and answers questions, as needed.
- Individually contributes to sourcing team through reporting, data analysis, documentation and any other relevant requests.
- Generate vendor scorecards based on global sourcing KPIs
- Participates in developing tools to augment procurement functions, reporting and tracking.
- Actively develop relationships with new and existing vendors, while handling contract and pricing negotiations.
- Partners with the procurement team to identify needs and present viable purchasing options for equipment and supplies.
- Shares research and expertise on industry trends, new products, and potential problem-solving solutions.
- Compares available goods to determine best pricing.
- Acts as a liaison between departments, vendors and colleagues.

**Qualifications**
- 1+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or product management role.
- 1+ years’ vendor relations and contract negotiation.
- Previous demonstrable / autonomous experience with researching and qualifying and selecting leads for a project
- Experience working within an ERP system (SAP or Microsoft AX is preferred).
- Use of Microsoft office suite (Microsoft Office Suite: Teams, Excel, etc)
- Bilingual with strong English
