And our team is growing We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team and support with the management of environmental compliance and oversight work to be completed for various ongoing remediation efforts.
- Supports project managers and team members in organizing, performing, tracking, and reporting project performance.
- Performs activities related to scheduling, allocation of personnel and resources, supervision of project personnel, and communication with the client.
- Coordinates environmental monitoring and planning activities including dust, odour, and noise management and monitoring, erosion and sediment control-related activities, as well as biological monitoring.
- Coordinates daily assessments of project sites to determine how best to proceed in an environmentally sound and logical way for all parties involved.
- Communicates, organizes, and coordinates between all internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports technicians and project managers with identifying environmental concerns that result from ongoing remediation efforts.
- Oversight of environmental impact assessment activities, resolving issues, reporting, team support, and other duties as assigned. Participation in ongoing or potential project planning and budgeting.
- Prepares and distributes project progress and performance reports to the project manager and client.
- Collects and analyses data and makes interpretations and conclusions for review by project managers.
- Responsible for invoicing clients, as assigned by the project manager.
- Responsible for the health and safety of any person working on an assignment under the supervision of the project coordinator.
- Attend and document scheduled client and team meetings.
- Responsible for providing training and technical guidance to junior and intermediate Cambium personnel as well as external groups.
- Contributing to general Cambium project tasks including document review, template and resource development, drawings, client communications, and internal training.
- Contributing to the preparation of proposals for prospective work.
- Working to meet internal and external deadlines may result in occasional evening and weekend work.
- Positive representative of Cambium to clients, supplies, subcontractors, and other internal and external personnel.
- Other tasks, as required.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-3 years Project Coordination experience (preferably in environmental consulting or a combination of sectors).
- A College Diploma, Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering.
- Able to effectively present ideas and technical information clearly and concisely in oral and written form.
- Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office components; Working knowledge of AutoCAD would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and problem solving in all undertakings is essential.
- Ability to do physically demanding fieldwork under adverse weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
